Violent Vengeance Begins April 6th in “The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile”
Ska Studios’ “The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile” slashes its way onto Xbox LIVE® Arcade April 6th and will be fully playable March 11-13th during PAX East in Boston.
Schenectady, NY – March 8, 2011 – Today, indie developer Ska Studios announced that its highly anticipated sequel to “Dead Samurai”, “The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile” will be releasing April 6th exclusively on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for 800 Microsoft points. Fans of the series that can’t wait until April can play the completed version of “Vampire Smile” at Ska Studios’ PAX East booth later this week.
“The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile” is set to take the series’ stylistic action, deep game play and unique visual style and kicks it up a few blood soaked notches. Play as The Dishwasher or his sister Yuki, go solo or connect with a friend over Xbox LIVE® and slice your way through 13 campaign levels or climb the leaderboards in 50 arcade challenges. With nearly a dozen insane weapons including the giant Painkiller syringe, an all-new gruesome game engine and full stereoscopic 3D support, this is the Dishwasher sequel fans been yearning for.
For the first time ever, PAX East attendees will be able to play the completed version of “The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile”, including all campaign, arcade and co-op modes. In addition to “Vampire Smile” being fully playable, Ska Studios will be handing out free swag and holding an hourly raffle where attendees can win a pre-release code to download the game prior to its Xbox LIVE® Arcade debut.

Yes, finally, the wait has been murder. I cannot wait to use the giant scissors.
But the question is: will there be another awesome trailer to announce this great properly?
Looking forward to the release! Ska has been pretty forthcoming with sales figures for your indie titles. Just wondering if you are willing/able to share even a rough estimate of the original Dishwasher sales to date. You could even be as subtle as “higher than I Made a Game with Zombies, but lower than Castle Crashers”. Me curious…
FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Were I not glued to my chair atm like the lazy internet dweller I am for most of every day, I would leap in the air and heel click.
Or as the above poster said “Fuck Yes!”.
Ahhh! At last! Well… Now it’s just the big wait. Then another bigger wait for “The Dishwasher : New Blood” then another wait for “The Architect : System RELOAD”
think of it.
Then call me.
Ps. Well done James
can.not.wait..
@Tim Of course, we’ll have a launch trailer to share come launch
The Dishwasher sure does bring out the f-bombs in people.
FUUUUU…….I mean SUHWEEET! awesome news at an awesome price point!
I was seriously worried for a moment y’all were gonna run 1200 or 1600 point price tag on this beast of a game…
when you posted the 800 point price sticker, I let out a long sigh of relief and then a squeal of excitement.
I can’t wait
It’s Ska studio, not Activsion too
Didn’t you hear? All the cool kids sell their games for 800 MS points.

Not to mention all the 5/5s and 9/10s everywhere else.
The new Dishwasher game is simply Dishtastic, never have I felt so…ALIVE but dead at the same time. The carnage, the gore it makes me scream just like Yuki does when she’s ripping the limbs off of those cyborg menaces. PLEASE keep it up and the Co-Op is flawless. A bigger variety of weapons would be nicer and possible DLC Characters but other then that, I love this game. I got it when it came out. Vampire Smile kicks ass. If anything I think Yuki is giving Dishwasher a run for his money. Her combos and aeriel moves are simply fantastic.
