The February Showcase Link Roundup
Last week, I jetted off to San Francisco for Microsoft’s February Showcase to show off The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, how bloody-awesome it is and reveal its nifty new 3D mode. Now that I’m back in New York, feet firmly planted under my desk, I figured I’d put together a post-show list of press previews. So, get reading:
Destructoid – Dishwasher: Vampire Smile has robot zombie sharks!
This trailer is just great and best of all, it shows off the robot zombie sharks I mentioned in the title. Best new enemy of 2011? Totally.
Game Informer – A Grand, Gory Time With Dishwasher: Vampire Smile
Picking up the cleavers and shift blade feels just as good as it did, even with Ska’s newly implemented engine.
GamePro – When Sexism Is Funny
If you can imagine a dark and gory game like this spouting rainbows and hearts and pretty-girl things, it’s pretty absurd right?
GameSpot – The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile Preview
Things have been tweaked a bit to make the action less punishing, but those seeking a serious challenge should still be able to find it.
GameZone – Game Preview for The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile
Vampire Smiles not only looks much better than the original game, it even supports 3D.
IGN – The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile is a Pretty Princess
The grimy, dark ambiance of the world is replaced with a pink hue and hearts persistently float around.
Joystiq – The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile (in 3D) preview: The price of purty
3D enthusiasts could easily play the game with the added visual flair and have an experience comparable to non-3D users.
